Hype Williams Music Video Analysis
Hype Williams is known for his rap/R'n'B music videos.
He has a distinctive style as all of his videos are similar in the form of camerawork and the way they are edited. He also uses a fisheye lens in most of the music videos he has directed making the use of this one of signature styles.
For example in Busta Rhymes "Woo Hah! Got you all in check" the camera often either zooms in or out on the artist.

This part is a clear example of that. And you can also see the use of the fisheye lens.
Another 'signature style' Williams often uses is involves placing shots in regular widescreen ratio, while a second shot is split and placed in the upper and lower bars. We can see and example of this in the Young Jeezy "My Hood" music video.
